8...er... 6 weeks!

Well, we went to our first doctor’s appointment this morning, and as it turns out, we must have caught on to this pregnancy really early, because it’s only at six weeks now! We still got to see our little bean on the sonogram, and he or she has a very healthy heartbeat, which we got to hear loud and clear. What an experience! I guess this means we’ll have to keep the excitement a secret for a little longer to reach the full ten-week mark before we tell the masses. But it also means we get to go see the baby again in two weeks at the actual eight week appointment! They’ll give us an official due date when we go back, but for now, it looks like it’s around February 27th. Brant’s hoping it'll be two days later than that for a Leap Year baby!
