Exciting Updates from the Doc

We had our 36 week check-up on Friday, and the doctor did a quick check on our progress toward labor. Baby Boy is sitting low, and we're at 2 cm dilated, 70% effaced - and that's without walking around or doing anything around the house! Yikes! What the dear doctor says this means is that we're most likely to have a baby within two to three days of the end of my bed rest. Thus, she wants me to be sure to stay bed resting until the full-term mark at 37 week - no cheating. Just three more days to go on that one, but I'm actually going to stay on bed rest a few extra days past that in hopes of attending the baby shower still pregnant. Then, it's anyone's game! Not long now... guess I better get cranking to finish the blanket!

You may have noticed that the produce size-comparison ticker has reached the final watermelon stage. Yeah... I noticed it too. GULP!
